THE Membership process
Individuals who request membership at ZCC are considered membership candidates. Your response to God’s leading today is very precious to us and is the start of a process that will prayerfully lead you to becoming a member of the church.
We believe that joining a church is an important decision. That’s why our Pastor, Rev. Joseph, offers a class to help you make that decision.
In this class, you will enjoy fellowship and learning. You will learn the foundations of the faith, the history and vision of the church, and be given an opportunity to become active in ministry. At the end of the class, you will be given a chance to pledge your commitment to the ministry. This is a covenant that informs you of what things we expect of our members. Those who sign the covenant after class will be welcomed in as members of ZCC.
Membership class takes place every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 6 pm in the evening. All who are interested in becoming a member and/or in learning more about the church should attend a session. Contact the church office to learn more about the latest upcoming membership class!

LIFE GROUPS
One of the best ways to build community is through fellowship. The small life group gatherings are a great way for members to connect, support one another in the faith, and socialize. The discussions and activities in each life group are relevant and beneficial. Below are the various life groups that our church has to offer!
become a volunteer or leader!
Jesus tells us in Mark 10:45 that even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. Jesus teaches principles such as “the first will be last” and “deny yourself and take up your cross daily.” These principles reflect an others-focused lifestyle and mindset. Volunteering is ministry and it is truly an honor to be called by God to serve others!
Before working or volunteering with Zion Community Church, you must first become a member of the church. Secondly, all volunteers and ZCC staff must complete background checks. The background checks include: Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI. If you have pre-existing clearances that are still valid you can submit them to the church office. To complete the volunteer application form or to submit your clearances, please email the church office at [email protected]!
