PREREQUISITES

Thank you for your interest in our Leadership Academy! There is no better place to serve than in the kingdom of God. To be considered for our program, you must meet the following requirements: 1. Must be Saved, Baptized, and Born Again; 2. Must be or get in the process of becoming a member of Zion Community Church; 3. Must submit 2 reference letters. (One from a spiritual leader and the 2nd one from a non-family member who can attest to your commitment to the work of God and can testify of your character.)

This is a 10-Month Program and all classes will be held virtually. Classes will begin in March 2021 and will be held one day bi-weekly for 90 minutes per class. There will be a graduation ceremony at the end of the program that will be held in December 2021.  This program costs $0! There will be a small fee of $40 at the conclusion of the program for the graduation ceremony materials. There are 3 different available tracks within this program. The tracks are listed below:

mINISTER TRACK

This track is for individuals who feel a call on their life to minister. Ministry is not just about preaching as there are many different forms of ministry. One can minister through music, dance, poetry, and more. This track will include lessons on:

• Servant-Leadership
• Ministry 101
  
• ​Homiletics 
  
• Team-Building
• And more
  

oFFICE/aDMIN TRACK

This track is for individuals who take interest in project management and in administrative leadership. The information gained from this track will not only benefit one in ministry but in the workforce as well. This track will include lessons on:

• Servant-Leadership
• Project Management 101
• ​Communications
• Time-Management
• And more

GENERAL LEADERSHIP TRACK

This track is for individuals who simply desire increased leadership professional development. Perhaps you already occupy a leadership role or you're a volunteer who desires to sharpen  your skills. This track will include lessons on :

• Servant-Leadership
• Public Speaking
• ​Networking 
• Team-Building
• And more

The "go getter" masterclass!

In this class, Rev. Joseph shares some practical tips on how to seize opportunities and how to discern transformative and vital moments. The tips and techniques that she will share have been tested in her own life and have proven to be effective time and time again!
